The site houses a high-speed corrugation line from European and Chinese manufacturers. At full capacity, the plant will process 10,000 tonnes of board per month, making it the country’s largest single-location corrugation plant. It is currently operating one corrugation and one converting line in two shifts, with additional lines to be commissioned by October 2025.

Astron is targeting a 30% in revenue growth this year, and the Pune plant is expected to significantly contribute to this growth. The company is also preparing to export specially fluted mono cartons to Europe, leveraging its upgraded cassette-type corrugation capabilities and a dedicated quality lab for high-humidity packaging performance.
