John Bharathidasan, owner of Annai Xerox and Stationary Mart, said the brand-new Canon iPR V700, now running productively at its facility, is the company’s first machine from Canon India.

He added, “This compact digital press with a small footprint is capable of catering to oversized graphic print outputs in outstanding textures and vivid colours. Its speed as well as media flexibility stand apart when compared to other digital presses in its class now available in the market. We feel privileged to include such a capable digital engine in our machine portfolio.”

Fully packed with advanced features and capabilities, iPR V700 is capable of operating at an unprecedented speed of producing 70 A4-ppm to cater to graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi. In addition to speed and print quality, this Canon digital colour production press is highly flexible with media of diverse textures and grammages. It compatibly handles both lightweight and heavyweight media, starting from 52- up to 350-gsm. The media range includes covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1,300-mm.

When asked about a specific reason for investing in the iPR V700, Bharathidasan said he came to know about the growing demand for high-quality, consistent, and versatile graphic prints in the market, even from their customers. “Understanding the needs, we finally had a plan to upgrade our production capability, which is why we were in pursuit of the right machine. Finally, our search ended when we embarked upon the iPR V700 at Canon India. This compact Canon digital press has all the features and capabilities we were looking for,” he said.

He added that before he brought home the iPR V700, he thoroughly examined and evaluated the Canon digital press’s performance and outputs. “We were quite satisfied with everything about the machine. Besides the machine, we were totally content with the way the team at Canon India guided us about the iPR V700 and amiably supported us before and after the installation of the machine for utilising it to the fullest productivity.”

Since its inception in 2000, Annai Xerox and Stationery Mart has been a long-term user of digital production presses from another reputed brand, not Canon. However, the company has taken a significant step forward in redefining quality and innovation in prints by choosing the new, compact and robust Canon colour digital press. In this, Bharathidasan confidently said the company has chosen the iPR V700 as a true game-changer in digital printing at Annai Xerox and Stationery Mart.
