If you have a great innovative idea and are looking for funding, then Amrita TBI PitchFest is the perfect platform to showcase your ideas. Pitch Fest is a unique initiative by Amrita TBI (www.amritatbi.com) to find the most promising startup.
Present your ideas in front of an elite panel of C-level executives and CEOs.
Esther Dyson, a long time catalyst of startups in Information Technology (www.edventure.com) and an active angel investor was part of an elite panel of judges for Amrita TBI Pitchfest-2012.
Structure
The structure of Amrita TBI Pitch Fest is as follows:
Step 1
Participants are requested to submit an executive summary of their business plan that explains the problem they are trying to solve, the uniqueness of their solution, value proposition, competitive advantage etc.. Additional materials to support the case are welcome.
Step 2
The top 10 are then invited to Amrita University, Clappana, Kollam to pitch their ideas in front of an elite panel of C-level executives and investors during Amrita BIO Quest 2013, an International conference on Biotechnology.
The format of PitchFest will comprise of two parts for a total of 20 minutes:
10 minute time slot for pitching your idea
10 minute time slot for questions by the panel
Step 3
Top contenders will be announced and will qualify for seed investments between INR 1 Lakh and 20 Lakhs by Amrita TBI.
Step 4
Amrita TBI will complete the required due-diligence on the finalists and provide seed investments between INR 1 Lakh and 20 Lakhs for qualified startups. Selected startups will receive mentorship which is a critical factor for their success. We also provide infrastructure and incubation services at very low cost.
