Acme Rolltech is highlighting its Advanced Channel Engraving (ACE) technology at Bharat Print Expo 2026 in Chennai, targeting narrow web converters seeking higher print consistency and efficiency.

Speaking to PrintWeek, Paritosh Gajjar, marketing manager, Acme Rolltech said that the ACE technology, first introduced at PlastIndia and has received a strong market response, particularly from label and narrow web printers. Designed as a specialised engraving structure for ceramic anilox rolls, the solution focuses on improving ink transfer, reducing defects and enabling high-definition print output.

According to Gajjar, the advanced channel engraving pattern addresses key challenges in narrow web printing, including ink spitting and inconsistent ink release. The structure enables smoother ink flow, easier cleaning and improved ink transfer efficiency, resulting in sharper solids and better print uniformity.

Acme Rolltech said the technology is particularly suited for high-LPI applications and HD printing, where precision in ink delivery is critical. Gajjar also highlighted that the engraving improves cell release characteristics, helping converters achieve consistent results across long print runs.

With global exports to more than 30 countries, Acme Rolltech is using Bharat Print Expo as a platform to expand its footprint in South India, a region with a strong base of narrow web and label converters. Gajjar also indicated that Acme is seeing steady interest at the show, with expectations of increased engagement over the remaining days.

In addition to ACE, the company is continuing development on its next-generation tactile anilox technology, ATAC 3.0, aimed at enhanced raised effects for embellishment applications. The upcoming solution is currently under trials and will be targeted primarily at narrow web segments.

Through its participation at Bharat Print Expo, Acme Rolltech aims to strengthen its presence among label converters and demonstrate advancements in anilox engraving technology that support higher productivity and print quality.
