Robus to go live with folder-gluer at PrintPack

Robus India is set to make a forceful pitch for its make in India Direction Series folder-gluer – Instafold, at the show. Launched early this year in January, Robus will be running the kit live at the show. The company has four orders and the machines are expected to be installed by June 2022.

 The folder-gluer comes in a range of 650 to 1,100mm and has a maximum speed of 400 mtr/min. It is equipped with a pneumatic blank pile vibrator, gluing tank designed for easy cleaning, independent AC motor for trombone section and is ready to retrofit.

The Instafold folder-gluer can be custom-made to suit a customer’s requirement. “The ready to retrofit features like 4- and 6-corner attachment, inline Braille attachment can help customers to perform their jobs more efficiently without any big investment,” says Prem Vishwakarma of Robus India.

The company is confident of success at PrintPack India 2022. “If you check our machine booking records then you will notice that we are getting maximum orders of our machine from our existing customers. It clearly shows that they are happy with our machine and services,” says Vishwakarma, adding, “We are inviting our customer over a coffee during the show to discuss their pain points.”

Robus India deals in die-cutters, folder-gluers, tape applicators, film lamination machines, flute laminators and other machines. The company's customer retainership is 70%. Most of the business comes from references.

In December when Vishwakarma spoke to PrintWeek, he said, "We have installed more than 289 machines with 82 customers. Our machine prices range from Rs 14 to 15-lakh to Rs 3.6-crore."
