Nitin Patil: Kodak enables a simplified workflow for us

Patil says that the Kodak Flexcel NX system and plates enable a simplified workflow in pre-press. "This coupled with the speed of the system helps us in faster turnaround time. The quality of output is also excellent and allows our customers to get better print results even with complex print jobs."

"We undertake customised treatment of pre-press and work closely with our customers to give the optimum print results even in challenging jobs," he adds.

However, Patil has a message to the brands and product managers during these tough times. "We would ask brands to optimise their artworks for digital flexo from their conventional process or gravure, as the dynamics continue to change in support of flexographic package printing."
