Mumbai’s Barcom installs Jetsci Colornovo

Mumbai-based Barcom Industries recently installed Monotech Systems’ made in India UV inkjet label production press JETSCI Colornovo.

Prasanna Sahu, chairman, Barcom Industries said the company decided to invest in the Colornovo after an extensive research on quality, reliability and productivity it offers. “It being a UV inkjet technology, we found it to be the most flexible and cost-effective solutions available,” he said. “Most importantly, the product is backed by the trustworthy support of Monotech Systems.”

Uday Lodha, director, Barcom Industries, added, “We are planning to migrate our all short-run jobs on Colornovo and free up the flexo machine for long-run jobs. With this, we hope to deliver the jobs in shortest term around time with value-added features.”

Barcom has 15 years of converting experience and serves regulated and semi-regulated markets across the globe with 100+ customers and their brands.

This is the eighth installation of Colornovo for Monotech. Six machines are already installed overseas and one machine will be installed in Italy in July.

It is the one of the first machine configured with all necessary requirements of digital label production like UV inkjet CMYK+W, flexo finishing unit and die-cut, so finished job in one pass at shortest turnaround time,” Dinesh Thakur, DGM sales-IPS, Monotech Systems, said.

Jetsci Colornovo has been completely conceptualised, researched and developed in India at Monotech Systems’ dedicated R&D cum demo centre based in Gurugram, the centre of excellence has state-of-the-art facilities with expert teammeeting all international standards.
