Jury for the Media Expo Excellence Awards unveiled

Ahead of Media Expo Mumbai, to be held from 20 to 22 February, the organisers have revealed its top-of-the-league jury panel for the Media Expo Excellence Awards 2020. With a fair and transparent evaluation process in place, the Media Expo Excellence Awards 2020 will be officially tabulated by Ernst and Young. Judging the nominations for the awards will be a highly-accomplished and industry-experienced jury panel with some big names under the hood — KS Chakravarthy, KV Sridhar, Ritesh Ghosal, and Rahul Puri.

KS Chakravarthy, popularly known as Chax in the advertising fraternity, is a globally renowned creative leader with very successful stints as the chief creative officer of Leo Burnett, Rediffusion Y&R and FCB Ulka. Chakravarthy currently serves as the co-founder and chief creative officer at Tidal7.

KV Sridhar aka Pops is a widely celebrated ad guru and a creative leader with tonnes of accomplishments under his belt. Pops has brilliantly served SapientNitro, Leo Burnett and Lowe Lintas, as their chief creative officer, and now serves the role at his self-founded marketing and advertising agency, HyperCollective.

Ritesh Ghosal, the chief of marketing at Croma- Infiniti Retail, has spent more than 10 years in leadership roles across MNCs and Indian conglomerates in the areas of brand management, advertising, consumer insight and general management.

Rahul Puri, the CEO and chief editor of Agency Reporter, who is also known for co-founding the influencer marketing platform, Buzzoka and Social Gabbar, a comprehensive B2C platform for content creators.

MEA 2020 will recognise and felicitate brands, agencies, and vendors who are behind-the-scenes contributors of genius OOH campaigns. The winning entries will be awarded before the who’s who of the industry. Apart from awarding innovative and creative initiatives, the upcoming award show will also honour sustainability in ad campaigns by awarding those that have incorporated products or materials that reduced or completely eliminated the negative impact to the environment.

First in its series, MEA 2020 is set to be held on 20 February during the 46th edition of Media Expo at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
