Hi-Tech System installs Foliant Taurus 530NG at Brandigo

Post-press specialist Hi-Tech System has installed the Foliant Taurus 530 NG fully automatic thermal laminator at Mumbai-based printed promotional product service provider Brandigo at their premise in Lower Parel.

“With a speed of 40 m/min, we are happy with the Taurus 530NG which works at speeds in tandem with our offset or digital presses,” said Joydeep Ganguly, CEO of Brandigo.

Founded in 2015, the company offers a range of promotional and branding products using both offset and digital technologies.

“Considering the varied types of products that we print, the machine’s less than five minutes makeready has helped us to get multiple jobs of different media and deliver the same to our customers on time,” he added.

Produced by Czech manufacturers, Foliant the laminator works at a maximum speed of 40 m/min, equivalent to 3,300 B2 or 7,500 SRA3 per hour, the Taurus 530NG has a host of features including quick makeready (< 8 minutes), no wastage, auto auction feeder and auto separator with  optional  dual laminating stations, non-stick rollers, film airshafts for fast load/unload, dual de-curl etc.

“The faster turnarounds coupled with consistent performance has ensured that we are completely satisfied with the machine. Add to that the support and service from Hi-Tech System, we have a winner,” said Ganguly.

Mumbai headquartered Hi-Tech represents the Foliant range of laminators in India.

Apart from Foliant, Hitech represents brands from nine countries which include USA, Italy, Germany, Czech, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. "With this installation, we have crossed 2600 installations across 1200 customers in India,” said Parag Shah, managing director of Hi-Tech System.
