Heidelberg webinars on new Speedmaster press

German equipment manufacturer Heidelberg has announced that it will organise two webinars in July to explain how its new Speedmaster CX 104 press could be a best choice in terms of folding carton production and package printing.

The first webinar titled ‘Flexible folding carton production’ will start on 15 July 2021 from 12.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The focus area of the online event will be on the new coating unit, which, according to Heidelberg, enables significantly faster changeovers for different coating applications.

“The innovative and convenient control system increases availability and ease of operation. New additional options, especially in the UV range, ensure process stability even at the highest speeds. The Speedmaster CX 104 is ideally equipped for everything from simple to complex packaging production,” the company stated.

Heidelberg stated that the second webinar, which is slated for 22 July 2021 (12.30 pm to 7.30 pm), will be beneficial for commercial and packaging printers and those who are planning to venture into package printing.

Titled ‘Expand your business model from commercial to packaging printing’, the webinar will highlight the advantages of the new Speedmaster CX 104, which is “specially designed for flexible production and the conversion from commercial to carton”.

“We will demonstrate this with an autonomous job changeover and enhancements such as drip-off and spot coating. When it comes to the high level of complexity involved in professionally covering a large portfolio of products, the Speedmaster CX 104 provides support with its intelligent automation and innovative operating concept,” the company stated.

After both webinars, Heidelberg experts will answer questions raised by the attendees. Those who have registered to attend the webinar will also be able to record the event and view it as and when required.
