Hall 7 | Stand D-10, 20
Today, the print market is defined solely by technology and willingness to cater to a broader customer base. "Niche markets and better profit margins are the buzzwords. Vendor-managed inventories, just-in-time, and track-and-trace are becoming more important.
In such a scenario, one digital interface to manage the flow of work between customers and suppliers – one common digital workflow- will help make informed business decisions. This is where Heidelberg's Prinect workflow will play a part, and that's what we will demonstrate at the stand," says Samir Patkar, president at Heidelberg India. He adds, "Heidelberg will emphasise Prinect softwares that will facilitate navigated printing and boost overall efficiency and productivity, thereby increasing the press's overall equipment efficiency.
At the show, Heidelberg will push its e-Shop platform, which is open for customers 24/7, where the customers can order the required spare parts and consumables at the click of a button. "eCommerce platforms, such as Amazon and Flipkart, have been a major success in meeting the needs of the Indian households.
Likewise, Heidelberg's e-Shop has been a big success with its customers worldwide, including in India. Our Indian customer base is growing because they see benefits in it," explains Patkar. The company will also have a dedicated booth to handle product information, the latest offering on sheetfed offset, and the latest on the Speedmaster technology.
