Canpac inks deal for two DGM folder-gluers

DGM Automation India has announced that it has sold two DGM Smartfold folder-gluers to Canpac Trends. Both the folder-gluers will be delivered by October this year.

The Smartfold folder-gluer range is fully equipped to cater to sizes from 60- to 1100-mm for solid board, 170- to 800-gsm and corrugated carton up to 20-mm folded thickness. It is equipped with all top-of-the-line features likes servo-driven feeder, pneumatic pile vibrator, slot and ratchet feeder belt adjustment, third feeder gauge for angular cartons, automatic side registration, latest design of pre-folding device, glue pot design with conical shaft with zero deflection, longer folding section of 3000-mm and extra extended delivery of 5600-mm.

The machine is capable of running straight line boxes, crash lock bottom boxes, CD/pocket envelope, angular cartons, potatoes fries, double wall boxes and four/six-corner boxes for both solid board and three-ply up to 20-mm folded thickness for E, F and N-flute.
