Autoprint organises seminar in Haridwar

Coimbatore-based manufacturer and exporter of printing and allied machinery, Autoprint, organised an educational seminar in Haridwar on 23 June 2015. The day-long seminar focused on ‘affordable automation in printing presses’ and was attended by more than 35 printers and packaging print buyers.

On the occasion, Sanjeev Popli of Popli Graphics, who represents Autoprint in the northern part of the country, said, “Print enhancement is the new parameter for a printer and automation is the process, which can help a printer achieve this easily.” He shared his views on various coating methods, advantages and disadvantages of coatings, and the latest trends in coating solutions. 
 
Ramaswamy, marketing head, post-press, Autoprint, said that print inspection is a must in packaging, especially in segments like pharma. He added that the Autoprint Checkmate 50, the automatic carton inspection system, is capable of meeting customer demands.
 
Rakesh Ravi, marketing head, printing division, Autoprint, said in his presentation, “Autoprint Dion 450+, the four-colour offset printing machine is not only compact, but also a cost-effective solution for printers.” He also emphasised on the emerging need for a good quality, affordable four-colour printing machine for short-run jobs in the market.
 
In his concluding remarks, Ramaswamy focused on automation of die-cutting machines for operators’ safety, quality, consistency and delivery on time. He highlighted the benefits and savings on cost by replacing about three to four manual punching machines with Autoprint's Repetto 65 V2, the automatic die-cutting machine.
 
Autoprint, who has installed 10,000 machines in the Indian market, is planning to continue to conduct educational seminar in other parts of the country, too.
