The 10,000th machine is a Dion 450+ four-colour offset press sold to a printer in Lucknow. Autoprint will commemorate this milestone by honouring its 10000th machine owner on 24 April, 2015 at Hotel Residency in Coimbatore.

The event is expected to be attended by various print luminaries from manufacturing and printing segment including Autoprint's dealers across India.

Crunching the data, out of 10000 installs for Autoprint, majority of the installs would be in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India. It's strength has always been the penetration of its machine in these segments.

CN Ashok, director at Autoprint is the brainchild behind this print revolution at Autoprint. According to Ashok, the semi-urban and rural parts of India are the growing segments. "At Autoprint, the marketing at rural and semi-urban places have been rewarding and this is one such example," he added.

Autoprint has a range of presses which caters to this segment. This includes: the 1510 Colt (single-colour), 1520 Colt (single-colour) and Knight (single-colour). There's also the Dion 250, Dion 450+ etc. In post-press it has Repetto, Reckoner VDP etc.
