Manjunath: I have learned a lot from my father

What is your greatest ambition?
I strongly believe in providing maximum employment. That has always been my biggest dream and I feel it is just a step away, only if I work harder.

What would be your dream job?
I am a curious person. I try to get to the bottom of every story. If I had a choice, I would love to be a detective.

Your role model...
My father. He has played many roles in my life: a father, a mentor, and a boss. He has taught me to be ambitious, caring and loving. No matter how many times I fail, he has taught me to never give up.

One most valuable work lesson...
Great leaders are good listeners. Nourish your team with love, motivation and inspiration.

What was the best business deal that you’ve pulled off?
I had attended an event named Indian Science Congress in January 2020, where Narendra Modi was the chief guest of honour. I found myself to be the only printer at the event. We had designed, printed and installed a MS frame of size 3,00,00 sqft at site in 25 days. I was the only woman on site pulling off this big order. I was proud of myself and my team.

What is your favourite phrase or saying?
I don't mind living in a man's world, as long as I can be a woman in it.

One key tip for good health...
Keep calm and get a pet.

Desired vacation spot...
Bora Bora islands.

Your favourite book...
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Life is…
Very short. Make sure you live every moment working towards what makes you happy.

Do you think there are lessons to learn from nature?
Nature feeds us, protects us and takes care of us. We have taken a lot from nature but have given back very little. We need to start preserving, protecting, and taking care of mother nature for a better and brighter tomorrow.
