Terms for OAA 2017 entries in sub-categories amended

The organisers of Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2017 have amended the eligibility criteria for sub-categories ‘Real Estate & Construction’ and ‘Retail Brands’ under brand categories whereby campaigns entered under either of these two sub-categories should have been executed in at least one city, as opposed to the earlier criterion of execution in a minimum of three cities. Also, the minimum number of media units used should be 25, as opposed to the earlier criterion of a minimum number of 50

The organisers have amended the eligibility criteria as campaigns of ‘Real Estate & Construction’ Brands or ‘Retail Brands’ are highly localised covering single cities. The minimum number of media units was also reduced in keeping with the single-city criterion.

All other criteria for entries in the sub-categories ‘Real Estate & Construction’ and ‘Retail Brands’ remain the same, including, use of at least three different formats, information on activation if done, and minimum campaign duration of seven days.

Meanwhile, the last date of submission of entries has been extended to 30 May 2017.

All entries must be submitted online via http://awards.oacasia.org/participation.

The award ceremony for the Outdoor Advertising Awards 2017 will be held Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Mumbai on 29 July.

Concurrent with the awards, the Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) will be held on 28 and 29 July at the same venue.

The two-day convention will feature presentations and panel discussions by leading brand marketers, global OOH leaders, technology experts and consultants. The event is expected to draw the participation of 500 plus heads of OOH media owning firms, specialist OOH agencies, brand marketers, civic authorities and a gamut of OOH solution providers.

The 13th edition of OAC will focus on the adoption and management of digital OOH and opportunities for OOH to partner development of public utilities and thereby leverage the new advertising opportunities.
