Stall booking open for New Delhi World Book Fair 2015

The 23rd New Delhi World Book Fair 2015 is scheduled from 14-22 February 2015 in New Delhi. The show which will be held in Hall 1, 6, 7(A-E), 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12A and 14 at Pragati Maidan is being organised by National Book Trust(NBT), India and co-organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation(ITPO).

The guest of honour country at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2015 will be Singapore, while South Korea and South Korean literature will be the focus country. China was also announced as the guest of honour country for New Delhi World Book Fair 2016 recently during Chinese president Xi Jinping visit to India.

The CEO Speak session which is held along with the New Delhi World Book Fair every year since 2013 will be held on 15 February 2015. CEO Speak is a sit-down business breakfast organised by National Book Trust in collaboration with FICCI. It aims to bring greater interaction with the publishing community in India and to establish a forum of CEOs to discuss and share business and book-trade related issues and concerns.

The participants are classified into the following broad categories: English language publishers/booksellers/distributors, Hindi and other Indian language publishers, foreign publishers. The English language publishers are further classified according to the following categories: general and trade, social sciences and humanities, science and technology, children’s books, government organisations/institutions, E-books and educational books.

New Delhi World Book Fair 2014 had 1023 participants who together occupied 2051 stalls over a total area of 34489.32sq/mts.
