V R Bharath, partner of the Bengaluru-based company located in the print district of Rajajainagar, said: "This is perhaps the first high definition violet deal in India with one of the highest configuration of Agfa Apogee."

Ravi Graphics has the honour of being one of the first commercial printers to adopt violet. Right now, the company is on a massive expansion path with the investment of two Heidelberg presses, in addition to finishing equipment and a MIS system from Shuttleworth.

V R Sharath, who attended a print course at Heidelberg's Print Academy said: "In addition to the plate capabilities, what impressed us is, Apogee outclassed other workflow options. It was sturdy, ripped faster and was dependable."

The Alinte at Ravi can image up to 19 eight-page plates at 2,545 dpi.

TechNova has notched up a record number of Alinte installations in India - and the highest numbers are in Karnataka.
