Quenby Transfers India wins PrintWeek India Company of the Year 2014

Bengaluru-based textile printing specialists Quenby Transfers India claims the PrintWeek India Company of the Year for 2014 at a glittering ceremony that celebrated power of Indian print in Mumbai.

This year the Awards comprised of 26 print categories (20 Quality Awards and six Performance Awards), 88 shortlisted companies (of the total 122 print firms), which translated into 1,280 print.

Other major winners at the sixth edition of the PrintWeek India Awards were Pragati from Hyderabad who won three Awards. Mumbai-based trio of Screen Art Enterprises, Silverpoint Press and Spectrum Scan all won two Awards each.

PrintWeek India celebrated the print legacy of Mahatma Gandhi with a special performance of 'Mahadevbhai'. Gandhi's great-grandson Tushar Gandhi was the chief guest for the Awards ceremony, who spoke at length about how Gandhi viewed and used print in India's liberation struggle.
