Minesh Zaveri, director at Pinkmark Block, said, "We are going with an unbiased, open mind and will evaluate all offerings after we reach there. We will be keeping a keen eye on the pre-press segment at Drupa.”

He shared that he is considering investing in Kodak’s DLE technology. However, before that he would analyse and understand the technology, during Drupa.

Zaveri Added, “we will decide on the technology and if we find it particularly beneficial to our customers and the Flexo industry, we will invest in it”

Zaveri has witnessed numerous transformations in the pre-press set up; and from his experience, he said that he doesn’t see any immediate threat to the pre-press from the emerging digital printing.

“The pre-press should exist. There can be a potential threat. May be by Drupa 2016, the situation may change. We will strategise as and when we face the challenges. At present, we are focused on the developing technology of Flexcel NX. We believe that as long as printing technology will remain, pre-press will also exist. Printing technology is not going to vanish overnight,” asserted Zaveri.

Demonstrations of the Kodak Flexcel can be seen at Hall 05 / F09-1 and Hall 05 / F09-6.
