Unique Photo Offset Services (UPOS), the Mumbai-based pre-press house has recently commissioned a Ricoh MP C6501 SP, a multifunctional digital printer to provide quality proofs to its customers.

Gautam Nerker, director at UPOS, said, “Our digital proofs offer consistent and almost perfect colour that matches to the final output. The Ricoh C6501 printer enables us to print on a variety of paper types as heavy as 300 gsm.”

Besides pre-press services, UPOS also offers large format printing for display graphics such as large size banners and POP displays. For this, UPOS has installed a six-colour HP Designjet 5500PS UV series printer and eight-colour Vutek 3360 inkjet printers.

Nerker said, “Outdoor segment has tremendous opportunities. The two state-of-the-art wide format printers enable us to offer a complete fabrication for window displays, large size banners and POP displays.”

The Vutek 3360 allows for printing on a wide variety of substrates of up to 120 inch width with a resolution of 720dpi with an added advantage of two-sided printing while HP Designjet 5500 UV prints at a resolution of 1,200dpi.

UPOS which started as a pre-press house in 1960 also provides label printing services using sheetfed offset and flexography.
