London Book Fair begins

The 43rd London Book Fair opened yesterday at the Earls Court in London, the three-day event is attracting lots of visitors to explore their new books and get involved in various cultural programs.

During the three-day fair, thousands of trades, readers and publishers are expected to attend the fair, where more than 250 seminars and activities are to be held. South Korea is the market focus country, for this edition of London Book Fair.

Capexil which is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India is one of the biggest Indian representatives at book mega show. AITBS Publishers, Apple Publishing International, Chennai Micro Print, DK Agencies, Goodword Books, LiFi Publications, Macaw Books, National Book Trust, Niyogi Books, Nova Publications & Printers, Printrade India Publications, Random Publications, S Chand International, S.K. Kataria & Sons, Setu Prakashani, Shivsagar Publishing and Sultan Chand & Sons will all be exhibiting at Capexil’s stand (X305).

Lond Book Fair is the second-largest book publishing trade fair in Europe next to the Frankfurt Book Fair. More than 25,000 publishers, booksellers, literary agents, librarians and media and industry suppliers from over 55 countries attended the fair last year.
