Kolor Kode stepped into the industry in 2008 and since then has been climbing the stairs of success with innovation and technical upgradation from time to time.

The company offers vaious printing collaterals that include end-to-end solutions like binding, punching, case-making and lamination services. The company in a short time has evolved to become a one-stop solution provider in printing customised, short-run, on demand solutions.

Kolor Kode has already run around 9 lakh clicks so far on the new press, and aims to capture a share of the offset printing jobs of the region. In addition to the various print jobs undertaken, the company also carries out proofing jobs for around 38 offset printers in and around Bengaluru.

Commenting on the installation, Kayu Dhanbhoora, managing director, Kolor Kode said, "We have been using an HP Indigo press 5500, installed in 2008. But we felt the need to increase our total capacity. With the Indigo W7200 installation, we will be able to take on larger volume runs and provide a faster alternative to offset printing. We’re also attracting new business by promoting the capabilities of the new press. We would largely cater to segments which includes on-demand, short-run books, journals, manuals, brochures, catalogues, marketing collateral, yearbooks and magazines. We would also try to capture the high-impact, high-volume personalised direct marketing campaigns.”

Puneet Chadha, director, graphic solution business, HP-IPG said “We are elated to announce this new press, which is considered as a powerhouse of digital printing, and is also the fastest ever press from HP Indigo Portfolio”

Apart from the two Indigo presses, the company’s pressroom also includes a Scitex LX 800 and Designjet L25500. In the finishing department, Kolor Kode owns Polar E72 and E78 cutting machines, Morgana Autocreaser, Horizon perfect binder, a line of thermal lamination machines, and case making and joint forming machines. The company recently purchased a PUR binder from First Paper Idea India and a Grafica Nano screen-printing machine for UV coating jobs from Grafica Flextronica.
