IndiaStar Awards: Shortlisted jobs

The jury of IndiaStar awards picked the best of the best from 627 entries, a record number of nominations in a year, to pick up the best of the best for this prestigious awards in six different categories.

In a jury meet held in two-parts at the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) in Mumbai, the jury picked the winners for consumer package, eco-friendly package, food package, pharmaceutical package, packaging material and adjunct, transport package and packages designed by students.
 
The jury, which consisted of eminent personalities from packaging fraternity assessed and evaluated the entries as per the guidelines and parameters laid down by IIP.
 
The gala awards night has been scheduled for today, 10 October, 2015 at the Renaissance. Eminent personalities of packaging industry, award winners, government bodies and overseas delegates are expected to grace the awards function. 
 


CAN-PACK INDIA
Fosters Thermo Can
Can-Pack introduced thermochromic ink effect on cans for the first time in Indian market. The key feature of the can is the design of mountains covered in snow, which is printed by thermochromic ink. When the beer in the can is chilled, only then the snow on the mountain appears.
 
 
 
 
 
 


ECOBLISS INDIA
Ledare Selfstandy Clamshell Packs
In general, bulbs are usually packed in closed cartons, in which one cannot see the product inside. Ecobliss developed the clamshell packs which provides complete product view and can stand on the shelf. The blister design and the construction of the pack provides enough strength to protect the product i.e. bulbs in transit and storage across the whole supply chain.
 
 


EQUITY PACKAGING
Retail Ready Transport Pack
The pack which is designed and developed by Equity Packaging;  was designed as a retail ready transport packaging in the form of unitised retail ready display for Tasty Bite’s ready to eat six pouch packs. The eco-friendly pack is self sustaining during transport. It eliminates the need of pallet and shipper, which in turn results in cost saving.

Moscovsy Profile Pouch
The aesthetics and the material specification of this packaging was developed to use the product . The nine-colour job has four layer of material structure designed to avoid foil cracking and also give body to the pouch so that it can stand on the shelf without buckling. The shape of the pouch, with zipper, is designed to provide easy handling of the product,  plus enhancing the product value by giving it a premium look and required shelf life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


PRAGATI PACK
Glendale Green Tea Carton
The Glendale green tea carton is printed on a folding box board which is laminated with metallised PET. CMYK and opaque white inks were used to print the carton. To give a premium look, the carton has texture, gloss and matt UV varnish. The structure of the carton is different and has the Glendale flap, which comes over the carton.

Milestone  100 three piece carton
This award winning carton comes with three detachable parts to form the carton. The top and bottom of the pack contains spot UV providing line patterns and gold-foil stamping on the brand name on all over the parts. Cadbury Double Decker Pack

The Cadbury’s celebration festival pack has been manufactured on Emmeci, which is a fully automised box-making machine from Italy. The pack has two upper and lower compartments with a golden tray inside, to give protection to the product.
