Fespa Digital 2016 in Amsterdam

The theme of the event is based on three superheroes, exhibiting the technologies at the show; Digiman (digital printing), Textilewoman (textile printing) and ESEman (signage). The Fespa visitors will also have the access to blogs from Digiman, Textilewoman and ESEman, discussing the industry trends and themes.

 

Opportunities at the show

The European Sign Expo, will take place alongside with Fespa Digital 2016, showcasing innovations in non-printed signage. The first time organised, Fespa Textile, will offer the visitors a dedicated to digital textile printing including garment decoration, soft signage and interior textiles.

 

The event is focused on digital technology and applications, in contrast to the larger and more comprehensive global expo and Fespa Digital was inaugurated at the same venue in 2006. After the completion of Fespa Amsterdam, the event was held in Geneva (2008), Amsterdam (2009), Hamburg (2011), Barcelona (2012) and Munich (2014).

 

Fespa, divisional director, Roz McGuinness said, “We are elated to return at the same venue where it all started, Amsterdam, for the next year show. From 2006, it’s fantastic to see how both the technology and event have matured during the timeframe. Currently, we have 200 plus exhibitors than at our launch event.”

 

Roz concludes, “In 2016, we would like to re-create a new story and an impact with the event. The superhero theme is emphasised on digital; along with textile and signage, have become the real opportunities for wide format printers over the past 10 years. The characters of the superheroes can be applied to our digital print community. Digital technology gives printers, additional powers and the potential to develop their businesses and just like our superheroes, they are stronger when combined. “
