Delhi Printers Association celebrates 'Rashtriya Utsav'

Delhi Printers' Association (DPA) celebrated Rashtriya Utsav on the evening of 9 August at Hindi Bhawan, New Delhi. Vijay Kumar Chopra, chairman and managing director, Hind Samachar Group based in Jalandhar presided over the function.

Around 400 printers participated in the Utsav, its third. The previous two Utsavs were celebrated in 1998 and 2009.

Badri Kumar Singh, president, Delhi Printers’ Association (DPA), said: "It’s an excellent occasion to reflect upon our contributions towards the nation and to the association. It also is a time to welcome new ideas for implementation in future."

He added: DPA has over the years changed in many ways, but the mission it has undertaken has always been part of the print industry’s betterment. We will continue to do that."

The DPA has 1,400 members and it claims to be the largest print association in Asia. It is affiliated to the All India Federation of Master Printers.
