Creed Engineers launches Vinsak pre-press and software solutions in Mumbai

Creed Engineers, the Gurgaon-based Indian distributor of Rotatek web offset presses has launched new range of thermal CTP platesetters, thermal CTP plates and plate developer under the brand name Vinsak in Mumbai.

During an event organised by Creed Engineers in Mumbai, Ranesh Bajaj, director marketing at Creed Engineers, said, “We wanted to provide end-to-end solution to the print industry.The Vinsak brand of products is targeted to serve commercial offset printers and service bureaus that seek reliable offset plates that deliver good reproduction quality.”

Bajaj added, “The USP of Vinsak thermal CTP plates is, it comes with a committed supply of varying thickness (0.30mm, 0.20mm and 0.15 mm) and in a large range of sizes to best suit your printing press requirements.”

During the event, retired professor Franz Sigg from Rochester Institute of Technology spoke on developing of specialised test targets, test forms and analysis tools which help to optimise and calibrate CTP systems.

According to Sigg, the use of specialised test targets, test forms analysis tools only help to enhance the quality output of the plates and result in quality printing.

Mohan Pahilwan of Creed Engineers spoke on the Vinsak security software for brand protection solutions by the use of security inks for various applications and offered by Creed Engineers.

The event which witnessed more than 80 delegates took active participation in the panel discussion. The panelists, Kiran Prayagi of Graphic Arts Technology and Education, Harsha Paruchuri of Pragati Offset and Pankaj Mehta of Reproscan, discussed various topics and answered questions related to the printing technology.  

According to Creed Engineers, more than twenty commercial offset printers and service bureaus are using the Vinsak products and will engage customers on a pan India level supported by its ten branches strategically located across the country.

After a market research by the internal representatives of company, a suitable plan will be created to keep a continuous supply of plates and chemistry.

"This process is being mooted and implemented to ensure that we fit well in the supply chain of our customers and enable their production department to run smoothly and efficiently," concluded Bajaj.
