Speaking to PrintWeek India, Muralidhar Nalli, said, “With transforming technologies, evolving market demands and changing applications, the printing industry is in a state of flux. We are adapting too by repositioning ourselves with new product offerings, which are relevant to the customer needs."

TGS India has installed more than 35 Wen Chyuan machines in India at the top players' including Pragati Pack, Parksons Packaging, TCPL, Borkar Packaging, Singhania Offset, Thomson Press, Yamir Packaging, and Canpac Trends among others.

“We have realised that the quality and reliability of the Taiwanese machines are at par with the European manufacturers. That’s the reason why all the Wen Chyuan users are satisfied customers and most of them have placed repeat orders for Wen Chyuan machines. This has encouraged us to bring more Taiwanese machines in India.”

Wen Chyuan’s Drupa stand Hall 11/ Stand B63 will demonstrate lamination, spot varnishing and coating machines.

The SBL Group, which manufactures automatic die-cutters, folder-gluers and foil stamping machines, has previously been working globally with Heidelberg for around a decade. When the agency opportunity was floated by the Taiwanese manufacturer last year, Nalli saw the potential and inked the deal.

“The engineering team of five personnel has already completed the training at SBL’s manufacturing unit in Taipei and is well equipped to provide installation service and after sale support locally in India.”

The SBL Group will exhibit at Hall 11 / Stall A64 at Drupa with automatic die-cutting and creasing platen machine, automatic foil stamping and die-cutting machine, and high-speed folding and gluing machines.

The other firm which TGS India represents is Golden Tec Machinery. It has a range of roll-to-sheet equipment. According to Nalli, Golden Tec is one of the most reliable manufacturers in the cut-to-sheet or cut-to-register segments and the machines meet all European CE Standards. The machines will be exhibited at Drupa Hall 11/ Stand B63.

TGS India also represents Datien Industrial Company, which has a history of over 30 years in manufacturing of double-arm automatic paper cutting machines with micro computer and European CE Standards ranging from 25-inch (66cm) to very large format 118-inch (300cm) and pile turning, paper jogging  machines.

Targeting the digital print shops, TGS has added Fulontek multi function finishing machine. With a maximum footprint of 375x173cm, Fulontek FL-500 is capable of die-cutting, kiss cutting, creasing, perforating, blind and foil embossing, hot foil stamping, scoring, etc.

“All the machines will be of great value to the Indian print firms in the sense that the technology is high-end and cost is affordable. Most of these machines will be available for live demonstration at Drupa and I urge all the Indian visitors to explore these machines,” added Nalli.

Drupa 2016 will take place from 31 May to 10 June 2016 at Dusseldorf, Germany. PrintWeek India is a cooperating media partner at the show. The team led by Noel D’cunha, Rushikesh Aravkar and Monica Rohra will be present on all days of the show.
