03 July 2015

Advanced Graphic Systems has confirmed that it will continue to sponsor the two PrintWeek India Awards categories as it did in the previous edition. The two categories are –Brochure & Catalogue Printer of the Year and Innovative Printer of the Year.

Vishnuu R Kamat, vice president for sales at Advanced Graphic Systems (AGS), said, “At AGS, we know that an innovative print job when coupled with cutting-edge colour management system, can produce quality products as well as save cost and speed up print process. The print samples received for the Awards are a showcase of such excellent print jobs. It’s always good to be associated with such an event. Besides, PrintWeek India is a widely read print magazine today.”

AGS is one of the leaders in colour instrumentation and colour management.

Kamat elaborated how AGS products help customer print quickly and deliver quality. “Our Spectrodensitometer or the Ink Optimser software/print standardiser, measures quality and helps save ink; the Ink Presetting (CIPS 3) solution gives the customer the edge of faster make readies and lesser wastes.”

Recently AGS introduced solutions for sample making, laser cutting and print inspection systems.

According to Kamat, the sample maker helps in making mock-ups and design new packaging solutions for their customers, while the print inspection system ensures zero error, be it the imposed PDF or the printed sheet.

Kamat said, “The packaging market is growing in India and AGS is constantly introducing products that suit the packaging market. It’s our endeavour to ensure that the packaging industry get the right solution and at the best possible price.”
