PrintWeek India - There is a solid Indian presence at the London Book Fair (LBF) from Monday 19 April to Wednesday 21 April 2010 at Earl's Court London. According to the LBF authorities there are 41 Indian exhibitors at the show.

Printers marking India's presence at the London Book Fair are Ajanta Offset & Packaging, Gopsons Papers, Repro India, Thomson Press, Replika Press, Manipal Press, International Print-O-Pac, Chennai Micro Print, Absolute Press, JJ Offset Printers, Multivista Global, Sahitya Bhawan Publication and Nutech Print Services.

In addition to printers, there are publishers like Motilal Banarsidass Publishers, White Flag Media & Communication, Om Books International, Roli Books, Vaishali Book Centre and others.

The Indian publishing market, which is estimated to be worth around $10,000 crore with a 50/50 split in sales revenue between English-language and India-language publishing, offers great opportunities for those publishers willing to invest in it.

The British Council's partnership for Market Focus Cultural Programme with LBF is now in its third year. This year the focus is on the cultural context of the Arab World, India and South Africa. As a result, LBF shall showcase ‘One Nation, Many Voices', which would feature 47 authors, poets, playwrights, activists and academics representing nine official spoken languages of South Africa
