Perfect Scan is a part of Perfect Group which started in 1988 as a trading company for graphic art printing consumables. In 1995, Perfect Scan started a processing house with an imagesetter and scanner. In 1999, it ventured into print business. Besides Indore, Perfect also has a unit in Ahmedabad and Vadodara.

The firm produces large- and short-format print jobs for corporate clients like Reliance, Idea, Airtel, Vodafone, Lux, Being Human, Ritu Kumar, and Indian Oil among others.

“Indore is the hub of weddings and there are a number of smaller events which form parts of the wedding ceremonies. Wedding stationeries play a major role here, and the Jingwei LS 0604 RM an important part in the finishing process,” said Nitin Gami, director at Perfect Scan.

Perfect Scan’s Indore unit is equipped with large-format machines like HP Xl Jet, HP Latex, Konica eco-solvent printers, Toshiba Head UU printers, and Roland Spectra solvent printers. For cut-sheet digital printing, there’s the Konica Minolta 8000 and Konica Minolta 1050. Lamination machine, cutting machine, Morgana creasing machine, Ideal cutting machine are some of the finishing machines.

The Jingwei LS 0604 RM has a maximum speed of 800 mm/s and is capable of half-cuts, kiss cuts, creasing and scoring and is equipped with camera registration system. It can function on substrates like paper, paperboard, cardboard, kraft paper, PET, PVC, polycarbonate, polyvinyl sheets in a maximum size of 600x400mm with a cutting depth of 1.5mm.

Before investing in the Jingwei, Perfect Scan used a cutting machine from Patel Enterprises. However, Gami said, it was a one-dimensional cut-and-crease machine which could cut and crease at the start. “With the new kit, we can half-cut, full-cut any shapes.” He added, “The speed and accuracy help us deliver the products in time; saves manpower and is cost-effective because we do not need to source die-formes.”
