Launched in 2010, Caldron CJ 6000 is a solvent-based wide format printer with Seiko SPT printheads. It prints on all types of flexible media that support solvent technology. The CJ 6000 comes in two variations – both are four-colour wide format printers with eight printing heads, with 510 and 1,020 active nozzles and 1,700 sq/ft and 2,300 sq/ft an hour speed, respectively. Each and every nozzle has the unit drop capability of 35 pl.

Rajat Mitra, owner, Caldron Graphics, says, “Wide format printing is one of the most growing segments of printing industry as so many commercial activities are taking place and it is increasing day-by-day. We have all the capabilities to grab these opportunities.”

“CJ 6000 comes with a default four-colour printing facility but we also supply six-colour CJ 6000 with 12 printing heads strictly on demand,” he further adds.

CJ 6000 stands unique on some points such as its three drying fans – first is to dry media moisture before print, second is for instant drying of ink post printing, and the third is for during the final job. The machine is equipped with double layers of a total of 15 fans, which include normal as well as hot air blowers. The printer, which can print up to 10.5 feet wide media, is also equipped with tubes to illuminate the media during printing.

The wide format printer manufacturer produces four series of machines including CJF 3000, 4000, 6000 and 9000. These have penetrated the Indian market through a wide sales network spreading across cities such as Ahmedabad, Agra, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Kerala and overseas market serves as Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Customer Testimonial
Deepak Girotra, owner, Visual Display says, “We commissioned two wide format printers from Caldron and we have a four year long relationship. We convert more than one lakh sq/ft media every month, especially around 75,000 on six-colour CJ6000. The colour viability of the printed jobs is very good.”

“We participate in specific exhibitions only and Media Expo is one of them. We use to participate in this event since its inception and have got a good response every time. Being the dealer of HP wide format printers, we are also planning to display HP printer along with Caldron 1020 and one printer from 6000 series, said Mitra.

Hoping for a better response this time as the market for wide format is expanding at a good rate, concluded Mitra.
