Wrapology diversifies into packaging with two DGM kit
Ghaziabad-based Wrapology Innovations has taken a major step toward expanding its presence in the paper and board packaging segment with the installation of two high-performance DGM machines — the DGM Smartfold 1100 folder-gluer and the DGM Technocut 1050 S die-cutter.

With this investment, the company has officially started commercial operations in mono cartons and premium paper packaging.
Wrapology Innovations is led by Vishal Tyagi, managing partner and a second-generation entrepreneur. The business traces its roots to Uttam Fashion, established in 2013 by his father, Dev Kumar Tyagi. What began as a job-work setup has now grown into a diversified manufacturing business that supplies printed cloth bags; FMCG packaging bags; tea industry bags, and a wide range of printed flexible and paper-based solutions.
The company currently manufactures 35,000–40,000 cloth bags per day, supplying clients across India.
A year ago, the team decided to enter the mono carton packaging segment. A new private limited entity was formed, supported by two silent partners, with a clear goal — to scale aggressively in pharma and FMCG packaging.
“Mono cartons have tremendous potential. Every product needs packaging, so the scope is huge. We see strong business viability and consistent returns in the range of 10–12%,” Tyagi said.
Today, the company handles 30–40 tonnes of paperboard per month, operating in a single 12-hour shift. Jobs typically range from 3,000–5,000 sheets and go up to 1 lakh sheets per order, covering sizes up to 28x40-inch. Most jobs are produced in 4–5 colours, with 25% requiring Pantone shades.
Wrapology’s printing line includes a pre-owned eight-colour KBA press with inline UV coating, enabling high-quality work for both pharma and FMCG applications. Printing plates are currently outsourced as the company focuses on stabilising its new packaging division.
In terms of finishing, the company deliberately chose DGM, citing a balance of economics, technology, and robust service support. According to Tyagi, the decision was clear from the beginning. “We wanted reliable, cost-effective machines backed by the latest technology. DGM offered full support, timely installation, and the confidence that our expansion plans can be backed by a strong converting line,” he said.
The newly installed DGM Smartfold 1100 folder-gluer and DGM Technocut 1050 S die-cutter provide a complete finishing workflow for mono cartons, pharma cartons, and printed packaging.
With nearly 70% of Wrapology’s business coming from the pharmaceutical segment, the company aims to position itself as a dedicated pharma packaging provider. The remaining 30% includes FMCG and three-ply cartons, with metallised carton demand also rising — an area the company plans to develop further.
“Pharma is our core,” Tyagi said. “The DGM line helps us deliver accuracy, consistency, and fast turnaround times. Our clients see the difference.”
Wrapology currently operates with a team of 30–35 people in a facility spanning 1,700 sqm, and plans are already underway for a new factory building with 2,500 gaj (≈2250 sqm) area. A second finishing line is part of the company’s long-term plan — and the initial layout has been designed keeping this expansion in mind.
The team is also evaluating another pre-owned printing press to support growing volumes.
