Wan-Ifra celebrates colour champions

In 1994, Wan-Ifra initiated the International Color Quality Club (ICQC). Every two years, publishers from all over the world send their print publications. They are evaluated according to the ISO printing standard. Samples that demonstrate colour printing excellence are awarded ICQC membership.

The International Colour Quality Club Certificate is offered to all companies that have succeeded in producing high-quality newspapers

The new members of the International Color Quality Club 2022–2024 (ICQC) for newspapers and magazines are announced based on the technical cuboid evaluation and a general graphic print quality assessment. For this contest edition, 40 publication titles achieved the Color Quality Membership 2022-2024, where most of the winners were from India and Germany.

Seven new members entered the Star Club in this year’s contest, and two entered the Millenium Club.

A publication, which gains five stars in a lifetime by securing colour quality membership or ISO 12647-3 certification, enters the Star Club.

A publication with ten stars enters the Millennium Club.  Seven new members entered the Star Club in this year’s competition, and two joined the Millenium Club.

The newest Millennium Club members are Heilbronner Stimme from Germany and Druck Styria GmbH & Co from Austria. In addition, three titles of Times of India and two titles of Mathrubhumi from India, Het Nieuwsblad from Paal-Beringen, and Sabah from Istanbul were newly added to the prestigious Star Club.

The qualified members awarded certification were recognised at the Indian Printers Summit and European Printers Summit.
