Wai Wai noodles tweaks packaging to promote hygiene

Haryana-based CG Foods India, the manufacturer of Wai Wai noodles, has tweaked its packaging with a dedicated space to propagate the agenda of WHO-led hand wash programme amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Haryana-based company has printed and distributed about 50 crore revised noodles packets

GP Sah, CG Corp Global business head, said, “We are aligned with our responsibility to our younger consumers during these trying times. With the increased relevance of advocating the cause of clean hands before consumption, we will be stepping up our efforts in this direction.”

The Haryana-based company has printed and distributed about 50 crore revised noodles packets in India and close to 200 crore packets in South Asia. The hand wash messages have been printed both in English and Hindi for inclusivity

CG Foods India (CGFI) is a subsidiary of Singapore-based CG Corp Global. The company owns seven plants and 10 manufacturing lines in India.
