Stage set for the Award Night on 2 November

All eyes are on the Awards Night of the 12th edition of the PrintWeek Awards to be held at the Grand Hyatt (Santacruz East, Mumbai) on 2 November. On this day, the Indian print and packaging industry will join forces for the first time in almost two-and-a-half years. More than 350 VIP guests will doff their hats to the work to celebrate the sector’s brightest and best. It's a formal sit down dinner with a special "print and packaging" cuisine.

The 12th edition of the PrintWeek Awards will be held at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on 2 November

Kalpak Shah, the senior executive, awards and events, said, “The Awards Night returns to the Hyatt after a gap of a few years.” 

Sudhanshu Vats, the deputy managing director at Pidilite Industries is the chief guest of the PrintWeek Awards celebrations. Luke Kenny, the Indian actor, music creator and former VJ is the host for the evening.

This year, the PrintWeek Awards received 362 entries and more than 1000 samples from 112 companies. Among these, 80 companies have been shortlisted. Total 179 entries out of 362 entries have found a place in the shortlist. 

On 28 September, 25 Jury members of the PrintWeek Awards 2022 studied the thousands of entries received from 112 print firms and packaging converters across India, and after much debate and deliberation, compiled the list of finalists in each category. 

This year, the Awards will be given in 14 Quality Categories and five Special Covid Awards, plus 10 Performance Categories.

Beside the Award ceremony, Raahil Chopra, managing editor of Campaign India and Noel D'Cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek, have conceptualised Show & Tell, a three-hour knowledge session on 2 November. 

There will be three panel discussions between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm. The discussants will look at how to free print and packaging from its outdated shackles. Some of the top A-Listers in the industry are part of the confabulations.
