Raipur’s Exact Graphics installs Duplo DDC-810 digital spot-UV coater

Mukesh Chandrakar of Exact Graphics said that in the geography spot-UV jobs were not being delivered on time. It used to take 10-12 days for a job and customers used to complain about the delay. “With the installation of the Duplo DDC-810, we can now deliver spot-UV jobs within a day. Now we have more customers and thus print volume has increased,” Chandrakar said.

Chandrakar said the company went for the machine because of the Duplo brand name plus TechNova’s services, besides the fact that the machine is compact and affordable. He added that the company is impressed with the robustness of the machine, and its speed.

Exact Graphics started as a design firm in 2006 and ventured into printing in 2013 with a Konica Minolta C6501.  A Konica Minolta C1085 was added in 2016. “We do various types of jobs like digital printing, Spot UV, digital die-cutting, lamination and creative artworks. We have got an entire set-up to create print products,” Chandrakar said, adding, “We are not focusing on any specific markets; we are working for printers and we don’t entertain direct customers.”

The company is in short-run productions focusing on business cards, invitation cards, brochures, catalogues, booklets, book covers, and so on.

He said as the company has digital die-cutting and Spot UV, it can now create different types of special shape jobs through which it can grab extra market cap. “I am focussing on selling print products rather than selling print. As we have spot-UV and cutting devices, now we are attracting premium customers who want their products to be perfect in shape,” Chandrakar said.

He added that he is happy with the machine and the services provided by TechNova. “The machine is very simple and user-friendly, and operations turnaround is quiet faster,” he said. “We are happy with the training and handholding that TechNova provided to help us run the machine successfully at the start. We were also informed about the ways to add extra values through spot-UV.”
