PrintWeek to host Steve Smith’s Masterclass on flexo plates

Themed ‘Flexo plate optimisation can drive greater print production efficiencies’, the masterclass is expected to help the participants learn how Flexo plate choice and set-up can help overcome several challenges such as shorter print runs - by optimizing for faster turnaround, in pre-press and on the press, tighter margins - by realising more savings on ink and enabling higher press uptime, demanding jobs – by getting accurate colour and image reproduction consistently, even with finer vignettes and standardisation – transitioning flexographic package printing from an art to a science.
