HP Indigo's 100K digital press will run live from Barcelona

As per a Smithers report, "In 2032, digital print will account for almost a quarter of the global value of all print and printed packaging by value, worth USD 230.5-billion."

Designed for commercial printers and converters, the webinar seeks new growth applications for printers with profitable revenue additions to their business. Two speakers will present during the session, which will be moderated by Sriraam Selvam of PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? magazines. The tech experts are: Yoav Lotan, head of products and solutions, Asia Pacific and Japan, HP Indigo; and Ashok Pahwa, business manager – commercial business, HP Indigo India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Passionate about digital, Lotan heads the product portfolio category and go-to-market sales strategy for HP Industrial Print, as part of the APJ management team. His mantra to excel is: growth with a combination of technical and commercial innovation.

Lotan will underscore the importance of digital and trends that tend to dominate the sector. Estimated to notch Rs 10,000-crore, the Indian label market is booming on the back of the continued rise of organised retail, eCommerce. This has led the label converters to diversify their flexible packaging and folding cartons.

Looking at the demand for short runs and increased SKUs in digital, Pahwa will share the nitty-gritty one must consider in its business to introduce leading products and solutions to the marketplace for high-value digital print application and developing strategic alliances with partners

Pahwa leads the digital press initiative in the Indian subcontinent. He is responsible for market development, end-to-end GTM activities and business excellence initiatives for HP Indigo and InkJet presses which includes both pre and post sales. He has over two decades of experience and is a print engineer by qualification.

RS Sanjeev of PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? said, "Delegates will witness firsthand the 100K press runs. Also how they can experience the press' digital print capabilities in creating quality, customised labels; discover new label applications that tap into previously untapped markets; and how its efficiency and versatility can optimise print leading to cost savings and increased revenue."

Mark your calendars and tune in.
