PrintWeek Awards 2022: Nutech Print Services wins Book Printer of the Year (Specialty and Trade)

Nutech samples comprised coffee table books of different sizes. The print lengths varied from 250 to 1,000 copies.

Nutech Print Services: Projects brought to life in print

The four-colour titles were printed on a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000s press using paper of different grammage, from 145-gsm Dolce Vita Ivory to 170-gsm art paper.

Pre-press included the Screen Trueflow SE7 workflow.   

Chrysalis by Safir Anand had a run length of 250 copies and Nutech achieved the run with great colour consistency. Post-press included flatback hard case and spot UV on PLC and jacket. The book was launched at the Jaipur Literature Festival.  

Monpas for Roli Books had aqueous coating on text and screen-printed inserts. The binding was flatback hard case.

Dancing with the Gods for Roli Books had two kinds of endpaper in large format size. The USP of the job was short-run (1,000 copies) with heavy contrast images. 

Baniya Legacy of Old Delhi for Graphische Werkstatt featured square back hard case, and spot UV and gold foiling on the jacket.
