PrintPack 2019: SSA Amrutha Folder Tech notches 12 installations in 10 months

“With 20 years of experience in the post-press market, I wanted to do something on our own and provide a quality solution to the industry, which will also be available at an affordable price point. With these thoughts, I launched this company last year and put all my learning in building this product,” said Muruga K, founder and proprietor of SSA Amrutha Folder Tech.

The folder-gluer has several configurations, including six or four tracks with lock bottom, cache cover, mini matchbox etc. It also comes with an automatic feeder clutch assembly, microprocessor-based digital batch counter with striker wait-n-hit control and crash lock bottom attachments.

“In my experience, I have understood that the best philosophy to build folder-gluers is the Bobst way and we are trying to emulate them in the ways possible by us. The bottom line is superior quality and longevity of the products sold,” added Muruga.

The company has completed 12 installations of the machine in a matter of 10 months. The first installation carried out in June 2018 at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

“I believe our focus to provide complete customer satisfaction and on-time delivery are the twin factors which has brought us the little success we have tasted so far. In less than one year of our existence, we have managed to reach across India with installations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Punjab, Sivakasi, Karur, Haridwar and Raipur, apart from our first installation at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh,” said Muruga.

“We will definitely look to capitalise on our efficient start and make 2019 an even bigger year for us,” he concluded.
