Premier Prints picks up its second Canon

The company is a one-stop commercial printer whose works and services involve in printing and production of vivid graphics

A Canon loyalist, Chennai-based Premier Prints has added a new Canon digital colour production press to its fleet of machines at its Porur facility.

The Canon ImagePress V800 was installed early this year. 

“When we were in pursuit of a capable digital production press for maintaining the gradual increase in print volume, what it clicked in mind was none other than Canon, which we have already known and experienced its efficiency and productivity,” Omprakash S, proprietor of Premier Prints, said. 

He added, “The first Canon digital colour production press in our facility, an ImagePress C8000VP, was installed five years ago. It’s an ideal digital system with amazing performance to deliver vibrant and stable graphic printouts in offset-like quality. Supporting the first Canon digital production press, our all-new compact iPR V800 is also a powerful machine of impressive productivity, incredible automation, and repeatable colours with which we currently produce around 30,000 sheets a month.”

Perfectly designed and engineered for outsized performance in a compact footprint, iPR V800 is compatible to print on wide varieties of substrates that include covers, envelopes, synthetics, long sheets up to 1,300-mm in length and others in ranging from 53- up to 350-gsm. “Along with media versatility, this Canon production press is capable of delivering high-quality prints as well. It delivers graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi,” Omprakash said.
