Prayash Copiers and Services has recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080.
Nitin Kurle of Prayash Copiers said, “The upgrade was necessary as the older equipment was reaching its end-of-life, and the buyback programme offered by Konica Minolta made the transition seamless.”
He added, “Since we already had experience using Konica Minolta machines, the training requirement was minimal. However, the engineering team provided support during installation and continues to be responsive to any queries. Over the years, we’ve built a strong rapport with the service team, which has always ensured a smooth experience.”
Apart from its two Konica Minolta machines, the AccurioPress C4080 and the Bizhub 808 multifunction printer, the company also operates a range of large-format printers from HP and Epson. “Our in-house setup includes 12 to 14 machines, covering a wide spectrum of printing capabilities, from black and white jobs to A0-sized plotting,” Kurle said.
He added, “Initially, our business began with a simple internet café setup. Over time, we gradually transitioned into CAD plotting and eventually entered the digital printing segment. This evolution was driven by increasing demand for high-quality, efficient printing services. Today, we cater to corporate clients, providing digital printing solutions tailored to their needs.”
Kurle is supported by his mother, who is also a partner in the firm. Siddharam Gangade serve as the sub-manager and have been associated with the company for the past 15 years.
Currently, our team includes six to seven employees. Two of them are involved in research and accounting, two manage operations like lamination and cutting, and the remaining staff handle machine operations and printing workflows.
Kurle said, “With the AccurioPress C4080, we are currently producing around 30,000 to 40,000 prints per month, and we have completed nearly 4 lakh prints so far. Given our current client base and demand, we anticipate achieving the return on this investment over an extended period, hopefully within a year. While volumes have fluctuated, our focus remains on maintaining quality and consistency, and the machine performance has supported that goal well. Our overall experience with Konica Minolta since 2014 has been highly satisfactory in terms of both product reliability and service support.”
