Paperex South India to begin on 11 November

The 4th edition of the exhibition and conference on pulp, paper and allied industry, Paperex South India, is all set to open its doors to visitors from 11 to 13 November 2016 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.

The event arrives closely behind the recent AGM and conference of the Federation of Paper Traders Association in which the Indian paper industry was stated to be growing at over 7% and projected to grow at over 4% per annum till 2030, translating into 20 million tonnes in 2020 and 27 million tonnes by 2030.

Paperex South India is the extension of the popular Paperex show, its 12th edition was held last year in New Delhi.

This event organised by International Trade and Exhibition India will have exhibitors from five countries with latest technology, machinery and raw materials for paper and board manufacturers.

Concurrently, a two-day technical conference on “The Road Ahead for Paper and Packaging” is being organised by Indian Agro and Recycled Paper Mills Association (IARPMA).

The technical sessions would cover topics such as ‘Innovations in pulping and paper-making for agro and recycled fibre-based paper mills, ‘Developments in engineered wear products and valves for stock preparation and paper machine’, ‘New generation machinery for storage and rubber rolls for paper and packaging industry’ etc.
