Muskan Print invests in IEcho PK0705 Plus of Emerging Graphics

What stood out at the Emerging Graphics stand was: the chairs, tables and point of sale (POS) display that is constructed out of cardboard. The company showcased inkjet printing machines to print on corrugated surfaces. Also, it launched a label press with inline spot coating, foiling, and die-cutting for short-run labels.

Designed for rapid proofing and small batch production, the IEcho PK0705 Plus machine adopts a fully automatic vacuum chuck and automatic lifting and feeding platform. Equipped with various tools, it can quickly and precisely make through cutting, half-cutting, creasing and marking. With a high-definition CCD camera, it can make automatic and accurate registration contour cutting of various printed materials.

Manish Jain of Muskan Print said “With this, we look forward to extension with short-run jobs of labels and mono-cartons. We needed a machine that could produce proofing samples and customised production, which is our forte.”

Jain informed PrintWeek that Muskan Print has a fully automatic rigid box-making plant. The company is equipped with a Xerox digital printing press, a fully automatic rigid box maker plus laminator plus a die-cutter from Sodhisons.

Brijesh Puri, sales director, Emerging Graphics, said, “A lot is happening with the boom in digital. The goal is to cater to short-run production and help businesses diversify plus growth of SMEs and MSMEs.”

Also, Emerging Graphics highlighted the Haotian label press at the show

Tushar Pande, director, Emerging Graphics said, “The label press offers inline operations like corona treatment/ primer/ opaque white by flexo, nine-colour inkjet printing, inline spot UV, foiling, flexo-coating and die-cutting operations.”

The inkjet printing machines can directly print on corrugated material of 1- to 30-mm CMYK with water-based inks.

Digital cutting machines can cater to a larger scope of materials.

Pande said the edition of Pamex was good and some of the leads were converted to business. “The last year has been with good for us in terms of growth,” he added.

The company has more than 200 packaging installations of its pre-press software and more than 150 machines for digital-cutting across India. In 2023, the company has completed installations of around 40 machines.

“We are optimistic about 2024-25 considering the growth of converting in all packaging segments,” Pande concluded.
