Pamex 2020: Sona to launch special products for packaging
Sona Papers will showcase a collection of papers specially for the premium packaging segment at Pamex (6 to 9 January 2020) in Mumbai. According to a company press release, "The growth in e-commerce, including online shopping, has boosted the demand for products. As a result, premium packs has grown amongst consumers. In the era of e-commerce, premium packaging has reinforced the brand image amongst online shoppers."

New Delhi based Sona Papers, one of the country’s biggest suppliers of luxury fine paper, is known for its specialisation in supply of speciality grade of fine papers. With office and distribution centre across India, Sona has been a preferred choice for brands, design houses and print houses.
The company has been serving brands like Samsung, H&M, Zara, Kingfisher, Hyundai, Maruti to name a few and has earmarked many milestones to its credit.
Since the previous edition of Pamex in 2018, Sona has added a new range of creative fine papers in its product portfolio. These include: Keaykolour from Arjowiggins Creative Papers, Black Gold, Malmero Colour Range, Artelibris Colour Range, Flora Tabacco and many more from Gruppo Cordenons.
Raju Suneja, director, Sona Papers, said, "Our creative range of fine papers acts as a medium on which the printers can show off his excellence in terms of innovations, printing techniques and post-print applications. During Pamex 2020, Sona will display creative fine papers for premium packaging and printing. A company official said, "Brands are exploring an innovative way of the packaging of the product and have been experimenting with ingredients like paper, technologies, colours, and other raw materials, which adds value to the brand’s image.
Additionally, it is also playing an important role in improving the hygiene quotient and shelf-life of the product."
