PackPlus 2023 focuses on sustainability, circular packaging

The 17th edition of PackPlus, which took place on 10-12 August at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, focused on sustainable packaging as a mainstream priority.

Organised by RX Global, the event brought bring together industry stakeholders, including around 250 exhibitors from local companies and international brands. The visitors had the opportunity to explore a wide range of packaging materials and services, including sustainable packaging solutions, finished packaging, and automation products.

The event was supported by associations, such as the Flexible Packaging Entrepreneurs' Welfare Association, All India Food Processors Association, Authentication Solution Providers Association, Indian Institute of Packaging, and Coating & Adhesive Tape Association of India.

PackPlus 2023 showcased packaging machines, coding and marking solutions, label printing equipment, anti-counterfeiting solutions, adhesive tapes, paper bag and cup-making machines, biodegradable packaging products, corrugated box-making machinery, paper, film, foil, inks, and other consumables. It also covered supply chain, logistics and material handling, food production and processing equipment, barcodes and RFID, rigid and flexible intermediate containers, woven sacks, and other bulk packaging solutions, packaging automation, package printing, and end-of-line packaging solutions.

Running parallel to PackPlus, the International Packaging Conclave hosted over 60 speakers from government bodies, industry, and leading brands. The conference sessions provided insights into current challenges, best practices, and the latest innovations in the packaging industry.
