NBG Printographic Machinery has stepped in as co-presenting Sponsor of the PrintWeek Awards 2025, backing three key categories that reflect the dynamism of Indian print and packaging.

Taruna Garg, chief operating officer at NBG, said, “By supporting the Label Printer of the Year, Packaging Converter of the Year (Paper Bag) and Packaging Converter of the Year (Rigid Box) categories, we want to highlight the role of technology and sustainable solutions in enabling printers to deliver world-class results.”

The company’s portfolio of roll-fed flexo and offset machines, including the Starflex web servo flexo label press, is designed to address these segments. Servo-driven accuracy, modular flexibility and advanced register control ensure speed, precision and consistency. Garg stated, “Starflex combines performance with the quality benchmarks that are celebrated at the Awards.”

Sustainability is embedded across NBG’s approach. Energy-efficient presses and waste-reducing converting solutions such as sheeters and slitter rewinders cut material use while protecting output quality. Garg explained, “Our aim is to make print production smarter and greener, enabling converters to balance quality and responsibility.”

New developments in CNC-machined converting equipment and modular automation features are also helping printers reduce setup times, optimise workflows and run complex jobs with greater reliability. Garg said, “Combined with our strong after-sales support, these systems equip printers with the tools to deliver packaging and labels that stand out.”

At the core of this strategy lies precision manufacturing. With advanced CNC machining and strict quality control, NBG ensures reliability across its presses and converting systems. Garg stated, “Precision is at the heart of our manufacturing. This enables Indian printers to stay competitive globally and reflects exactly what the PrintWeek Awards celebrate.”

For NBG, co-presenting three categories is about reinforcing its commitment to the industry’s growth. As Garg concluded, “We see the Awards as a platform to inspire printers and converters to embrace automation, sustainability and quality that meet global benchmarks.”
