The MGI JetVarnish was installed in July 2017 by Konica Minolta, the digital print equipment manufacturer which represents MGI JetVarnish presses in India. “It was a well-researched decision taken after analysing market dynamics and current trends in bigger markets,” said Vipul Mishra, director at Vipul Print. “The MGI kit is capable of doing three-dimensional UV and foiling jobs together in one pass.”

The Nagpur-based Vipul Prints has multi-colour offset presses, one of which is a pre-owned Manroland 205E five-colour press installed in 2012. Mishra said the press is equipped with AMS Multiwave LED UV and claimed it was the first in India, supplied by APL Machinery. A Highwater violet CTP in pre-press and complete post-press set-up are Vipul’s other print production strengths.

“In today’s competitive market you need to have something special to give it to the customer. This is it,” said Mishra about the MGI JetVarnish. “Compact design, world class technology and very user friendly working are bound to improve our services.”

Vipul specialises in printing of menu cards, brochures, magazines, souvenirs, labels, and packaging jobs including MetPET with special applications like digitally embossed foiling and UV using the JetVarnish.

Vipul Print was established in 1995 but is an offshoot of VV Offset & Allied Works, which was established in 1990 by Mishra’s brother Vivek.
