MCMA extends support to PackPlus 2019

The Metal Container Manufacturers Association (MCMA), which works towards formation and implementation of standards for the necessary raw materials, finished goods and allied products of the metal packaging industry in India, has extended its support to PackPlus 2019, to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 28 to 31 August 2019.

The Asia Pacific metal packaging market is expected to grow at 4.30% until 2023

The MCMA promotes trade, commerce and industry in India, in particular connected with metal containers and its allied products like caps, closures, lug caps, components, printed sheets, etc. It communicates with respective ministries, government departments, chambers of commerce and other commercial and industrial bodies within or outside India and promotes measures for promotion of the benefits of metal packaging throughout India.

The Asia Pacific metal packaging market is expected to grow fastest at a CAGR of 4.30% until 2023. China, Japan, India, and Thailand are the key contributor to Asia Pacific market. New production technologies, coupled with an increasing number of product launches have buoyed the market growth.

With 380 exhibitors already on board, PackPlus 2019, spread across 11 halls, is set to provide many opportunities related to metal containers and its allied. There will be many opportunities available for micro, small and medium enterprises to source new solutions, enhance product portfolio offerings, build a robust network and enter new markets.

There are several global product launches lined up along with showcase of latest innovations in both packaging and machine automation. Many exhibitors at PackPlus are from the metal packaging sector, offering solutions to the pharmaceutical and chemical; food and beverage, dairy and meat; and personal care products.
